2012年11月29日，针对网络热议的干露露母女三人在江苏教育电视台竞猜节目《棒棒棒》录制中放泼撒野、大曝粗口一事，国家广电总局新闻发言人明确表示，江苏教育电视台违反《广播电视管理条例》，罔顾媒体社会责任，为丑恶言行提供展示舞台，造成恶劣社会影响，应当受到严厉谴责。广电总局将依据有关法规，给予严肃处理 。
根据《广播电视管理条例》，教育电视台只能制作播出教育教学节目。而江苏教育电视台擅自改变频道定位，违规制作播出低俗娱乐节目，明显违反法规规定。
